交通设施的不断改善，使红河到省会昆明行程时间仅为3个半小时。泛亚铁路的破土动工，将使红河铁路货运周转能力达9000万吨。
铁路、公路、河道运输以及不外将开通的航空运输，使河口老街口岸成为中国与越南两国之间唯一具备各种运输方式的口岸。

Adjacent to Vietnam and Southeast Asia,Honghe has two national Grade lports,Hekou and Jinshuihe.Located on the major channel from Yunnan Province to Vietnam and Southeast Asia,it is the bridge tower of Yunnan,and even Southwest China,to enter Southeast Asia.
With the continuous improvement in communication facillties,it takes only three and a half hours from Honghe to Kunming ,the capital city;breaking earth of the Trans-Asian Railway will make the railway freight turnover capacity of Honghe reach 90 million tons.
The railway, highway, waterway transportation and airline transportation opened soon make Hekou-Lao Cai Port the only port with various transportation means between China and Vietnam.
During the "Tenth Five-Year Period", the total volume of import and export of Honghe reached 1.59 billion USD,ranking the second place in Yunnan Province. |
