气候资源
红河州地处低纬高原季风活动区，北回归线由州中部穿越而过，气候类型多样，具有从北热带到南中温带六种气候类型，境内最高海拔3074.3米，最低海拔76.4米，立体气候特征显著。全州热带、亚热带面积2.65万平方公里，占全州国土面积的80％。

Climatic resource
Located in the low latitude plateau monsoon activity area withthe tropic of cancer crossing the center of the prefecture,Honghe has diverse climate,with six kinds of climate ranging from north tropical zone to South Temperate Zone. With the highest altitude of 3,074.3m and the lowest altitude of 76.4m,it is obvious in tridimensional climate.Within Honghe Prefecture, the area of tropical zone and subropical zone is 26,500km2,accounting for 80% of ths total prefecture's area. |

生物资源
全州有高等植物近7000种，约全省的一半。热带、亚热带珍贵林木树种50多种，药用植物800多种。建立了葡萄、石榴、柑桔等基地100万亩，优质稻、茶100万亩，灯盏花、大黄藤、血竭等100万亩，膏桐50万亩，竹林200万亩，蔬菜、橡胶、入角、草果、棕树等已形成规模，草果产量居全国之首，棕片产量在全省名列前茅。 |
Biological resource
Honghe Prefecture has nearly 7,000 kinds of higher species of plants,accounting for half of the whole province. ln addition, it has more than 50 kinds of tropical and subtropical precious forest tree species and over 800 genus of medical plants. li has established more than 66,666.7 hectares of base, 66,666.7 hectares of breviscapus, 33,333.3 hectares of jatropha curcas and 133,333.3 hectares of bamboo clusters;plantations of vegetables, rubber, aniseed, tsaoko and palm tree has taken shape,with the production of tsaoko topping the list in China and production of palm sheet ranking the leading place in the province. |

水资源
境内有南盘江、红河、藤条江、李佩江四大水系及异龙湖、大屯海、长桥海、三角海等十多个主要湖泊。红河州年均降水1432毫米，降水总量460亿立方米，水能理论蕴藏量500万千瓦，可开发量为300万千瓦。 |
Water resource

矿产资源
红河州是云南金属矿资源富集区之一，是云南省重要的有色金属基地，各种有色金属矿产的潜在价值达4000多亿元，极具开发潜力和价值。现已探明的有色金属储量640万吨，其中锡78万吨，储量居全国首位；黑色金属7000多万吨；非金属矿霞石24亿吨，价值达5万亿元。煤40多亿吨，价值5000亿元。大理石5亿立方米。 |
Mineral resources
As one of the metal resource dense areas in Yunnan and an important nonferrous metal base, the potential e is more than 400billion yuan, with extremely great development potential and value. The nonferrous metal reserve explored now is 6.4 million tons, of which the reserve of this is 780,000tons,ranking the first place in China; the reserve of ferrous metal is more than 70million tons; the reserve of nepheline,non-metallic mineral,is 2.4 billion tons, with the value of 5,000 billion yuan; the reserve of coal is mover four billion tons, with the value of 500 billion yuan; and the reserve of marble is 500 million m3; |

旅游资源
红河州族游源十分丰富。拥有称绝于世的红河哈尼梯田、中原文化与边地文化匚妙融合的建水历史文化名城、河口跨境旅游、泸西阿庐古洞等特色景观。
哈尼族的“苦扎扎”节、“长街宴”，彝族的“火把节”与传统的“祭火”活动，苗族的“采花山”，瑶族的“盘王节”，傣族的“泼水节”与“男人节”等等，造就了红河州“地上地下皆是景，各族群众天天者在过民族节”的热闹氛围。 |
Tourism resource
Honghe Prefecture has ample tourism resources.
The Hani terraced field,which is a world's wonder, is found also at Honghe,together with Jianshui town,a historical and cultural famous city combining the Central Plain culture and border culture, Hekou trans-border tourism activity and Luxi Alu Cave.
"Kuzhazha Festival" and "street banquet" of Hani ethnic minority,"Torch Festival" and the traditional "Grand Fire" activity of Yi ethnic minority,"touring in flower mountains" of Miao ethnic minority and "Water Splashing Festival" and "The Men's Day" of Dai ethnic minority have created the busy atmosphere with landscape everywhere and people of each ethnic minority celebrating festivals every day. |
